HPI Sprint 2 Lets You Choose From Four Bod Styles

While the HPI Sprint 2 electric series may let you pick and choose the exterior of your car, the insides are all the same RTR. The Sprint 2's reinforcedchassis has controlled flexibility, which allows for superior handling. The Sprint 2 also comes stock with a big foam front bumper, an upper deck and shock towers to take some of the heat from the terrain off of your vehicle. Although not as fast as many of HPI's nitro vehicles, dual belt 4WD transmission takes only 48dpi motor pinion to spur its gear and is a very capable part. The Sprint 2 also comes with sealed front and rear gear differentials to alleviate the stress of time-intensive differential rebuilds. Plus, the strong and flexible HPI polycarbonate bodyshells resist cracking and other damage that come with wear and tear. The stock car also comes equipped with 14 rubber sealed ball bearings all together, which don't wear out like metal or plastic bushings and provide lower friction and faster speeds.

Possible Upgrades

Well, nothing can be perfect, so there is a drawback to the Sprint 2, it's tires. If you're looking just to play around, the stock tires will be fine, but if you're interested in competing in and winning some races, you may want to upgrade from the stock tires HPI provides. HPI does offer lots of great racing tires though, and the V-grooved or X-grooved ones especially improve the handling and acceleration of the Sprint 2.

Decisions, Decisions

There are four main HPI shells to choose from for your Sprint 2. I personally think the Stiletto (BATMAN!) has the most style, but there's also the choice of HPI Toureza, Venom and Subaru shells to pick from.
