It's not just a hobby for truggy-lovers, the nitro fuelled HPI RS4 definitely turns up the heat at the track. With the choice of a wide array of HPI bodies (including a
Lamborghini Gallarado and Dodge Viper, mmm...) you can go for a wide or narrow,
depending on preference. Plus, you can convert your love for the super-fast sexy
cars you drool over at the lot into the body of your new RC car.
Sound Construction
The solid platform comes preassembled on a 2.5mm thick purple anodized 6061
aluminum chassis, while a shaft drivetrain and pre-cut foam bumper prevents any serious damage from flinging pebbles as you tear up the track. The engine's nothing to scoff at either. The car features
full 4WD and the new HPI T-15 engine which features a large heatsink head, 2 needle adjustments and ABC construction. Also, a limited-slip front differential makes sure your ride will run easy and won't give you any nasty surprises in the form of bad handling at the track.
An added perk is the addition of a complete set of rubber-sealed
ball bearings, so you won't have to worry about metal brushings wearing down your drive shaft, making it harder to upgrade your bearings in the future. The car comes stock with D-Compound X-Pattern tires which grip excellently on the track, and pretty well anywhere else you want to go.
Oil Issues?
Because there are sometimes complaints over the quality of the shock oil supplied by
HPI Racing, instead you can invest in some 30w Associated oil to get a better quality run.
Roger That
Like all HPI vehicles, the RS4 Evo comes with an Airtronics radio system to ensure you and your RS4 have a proper command and obey relationship.
