At the bare bones of the Savage 25 is the powerful new Nitro Star S-25 engine that has 20% more displacement than the previous model. It's a 1/4 cubic inch big block engine that features a billet aluminum heatsink head
for improved cooling, a dual bushing aluminum connecting rod, true ABC chrome sleeve construction to weather wear and tear, and a simplified dual needle 7mm slide carburetor for easier tuning with a composite body as well as improved performance at higher temperatures.
The icing on the cake is in terms of the Savage 25's design. A fresh new coat of paint gives it a hot new look. The red/silver/graphite graphics are a flashier touch to a classic look, and provide a more toned-down version of many of the neon-embracing
RC monster trucks out there.

In terms of convenience, an important addition to this model of the Nitro Savage is the Roto Start System, which eliminates the pull starter from the engine. This translates into less hassle for owners, as with just a press of the button you're ready to go. A cheer goes up in the crowd of Nitro Savage fans, as you'll no longer need to worry about hurting your fingers and wasting time on a pesky pull starter.
